You will go to Queen Elizabeth National park for a Uganda wildlife safari and game drive in Isasha sector where you adventure Tree-climbing lions and other wildlife species.

The 6 Days East Africa Primates Tour takes you to Volcanoes national park for a Rwanda Gorilla Trekking tour. The Safari starts from Kampala City Uganda’s Capital with a Kampala City tour and ends in Kigali City Rwanda, with a Kigali City tour.

6 Days East Africa Primates Tour: Safari in Details

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport

Welcome to Uganda. On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Kampala for the overnight, Metropole Hotel (M) or The Lodge (B). BB

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park.

Leave the Kampala after an early breakfast and drive to Fort Portal through Mubende-Mityana road. In the afternoon you will go for the chimpanzee and primate trekking in the forest. Here is found one of the largest populations of chimpanzees in Uganda. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the moon (M) or Ataco Resort (B). FB

Day 3: Batwa pygmies and Semliki National park

Drive to Bundibujo. The road is winding with breathtaking views. You will stop at Ntandi to visit the Pygmies and learn about their culture and way of living.

Proceed to Semliki National Park where you will visit the Sempaya hot springs. Return to Fort Portal. Dinner and overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel or Ataco country resort.FB

Day 4: Transfer to Rwanda Ruhengeri

Transfer to Rwanda, have lunch en-route and continue to Rwanda in Ruhengeri.Dinner and overnight at La Palme or Kinigi Guesthouse.

Day 5: Mountain Gorilla tracking and Golden monkey viewing.

Early morning you enter the gorilla sanctuary of Volcanoes National Park, the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding the five Virunga Volcanoes. It was here where biologist Dian Fossey worked until her death in 1985.

The trekking is a strenuous but rewarding experience. Ensure you carry enough drinking water and packed lunch.

The time spent in the forest depends on the movements of the primates in their natural environment. Dinner and overnight at La Palme or Kinigi Guesthouse.

Day 6: Kigali and the culture of Rwanda

After breakfast, you will drive to Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda. To prepare for your departure flight. Optional: If you have enough time a visit to the Genocide Memorial Museum can be arranged. The genocide in Rwanda left most Rwandese citizens traumatized.
